In 2009 we become absorbed by the idea to create a place where beautiful wines and their connoisseurs  could meet. After a brief search for suitable premises in Trnava and Bratislava we finally decided to open up a wineshop at home in Smolenice, in a warm historical house in the village centre within a close proximity to shops, banks, and restaurants.

Both regular and occasional customers have kept convincing us that this was a good choice. They visit us not only for the beautiful wines, but also because of a wide selection of gift items, ceramics, teas and tea utensils. The name “Wineshop Gallery” is connected with presenting artworks of enthusiastic amateur artists, which you can find on the walls of our shop.

From the very beginning the wineshop became a place of pleasant, relaxed wine degustations, where wine discussed, philosophized about, and most importantly tasted. When these premises became a little small for the wine tastings, we moved these to the south bastion of the Smolenice castle, which has became our base not only for degustations but also for various events, whose main theme are beautiful wines.
